Josh has an excellent work ethic which compliments his technical abilities. He was one of the leaders of Digital Video revolution in education in Oklahoma, both with the broadcast quality digital video as well as the H.323 interactive compressed video.
He had great communications skills which allowed him to overcome the boundaries of space by placing himself in the customer’s situation mentally while simply speaking with that customer on the phone.
Josh also has the ability to sum up dozens of technical points logically and develop, then pursue a simple and effective “solution” in any given situation. An example of this is the OneNet MCU Dialer which he single handedly developed in a few short days. This web interface effectively allows hundreds of OneNet educational customers to take control of our H.323 MCU which is the heart of the distance learning cyber system, greatly extending the operationability of that system.
I was as pleased for Josh to work in my department as I was to “lose” him to the “systems” department, where while he no longer worked directly for me, I knew his talents would be put to better use.
